Could new MS treatment cure vitiligo. This morning I came across an exciting article about a breakthrough in multiple sclerosis treatment as scientists discovered how to ‘switch off’ autoimmune diseases. Why did this catch my eye? Since vitiligo is considered an autoimmune disease, and because scientists have already located the gene responsible for vitiligo, perhaps this new treatment can be used to turn off vitiligo!
