How Vitiligo Cover Lotion Works
Vitiligo Cover Lotion is a cosmetic, buildable skin-tone blending lotion. Its naturally derived DHA reacts with amino acids in the outermost layer of skin, gradually developing natural-looking color that helps soften the visible contrast of vitiligo patches. It does not restore melanin or treat vitiligo.
What happens after application
- Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry, exfoliated skin.
- Allow approximately 6–8 hours for the color to fully develop before judging the result.
- For a deeper blend, add another light layer after the first layer has developed.
- Once fully developed, the color is water-resistant for normal daily wear.
- With typical use, the developed color can last up to five days and gradually fades as the outermost skin cells naturally exfoliate.
Results and wear time vary by skin, application, bathing, activity, and exfoliation.

There is no shade-selection quiz. Start with a thin layer and build gradually until the visible contrast looks more even. Apply carefully and blend the edges for the most natural-looking result.
Using it with vitiligo treatments
Vitiligo Cover Lotion is a cosmetic product, not a medical treatment. If you use prescription creams, ointments, light therapy, or another vitiligo treatment, follow the product label and your clinician’s directions. Face, body, and younger users
The lotion can be used cosmetically on the face and body. Patch test first, avoid the eyes and irritated or broken skin, and discontinue use if irritation occurs. For children, ask a pediatric healthcare professional before use and have an adult supervise application.
