Vitiligo Cover Lotion is a cosmetic, buildable skin-tone blending lotion designed to help soften the visible contrast between white vitiligo patches and the surrounding skin. It is not traditional foundation or body makeup: sugarcane-derived DHA reacts with amino acids in the outermost layer of skin to develop natural-looking color gradually.
It is designed for the face and body. No shade-matching quiz is required; apply thin layers and allow the color to develop before deciding whether another light layer is needed.
How It Works
The color develops over approximately 6–8 hours. Once fully developed, it is water-resistant for typical daily wear and can last up to five days with typical use. The color gradually fades as the outermost skin cells naturally exfoliate. Results vary by skin tone, body area, application amount, skin preparation, bathing, exfoliation, and individual routine.
How to Apply
- Exfoliate first, paying extra attention to hands, wrists, ankles, and dry areas.
- Apply a thin, even layer to clean, dry skin. For hands, arms, legs, and larger areas, blend over the entire area rather than coloring only individual white patches.
- Wash the palms of your hands after application.
- Allow the color to develop for 6–8 hours before judging the final result.
- If more color is desired, apply another light layer after the first layer has developed.
